It takes a lot of courage and vulnerability to seek out therapy, regardless of the reason, so I wanted to thank you for taking the leap to find the right therapist for you. And since you’re here, it would be my honor to introduce myself.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Denison University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University. I have completed training in Gottman Level 2 Method, an evidence-based couples counseling approach, as well as in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based trauma therapy technique. Additionally, I have received certifications as a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2. I typically approach therapy with an integrative approach grounded in trauma-informed and person-centered therapeutic techniques.

As far as what this looks like in the therapy setting, I believe that when we are made to feel safe to be our genuine self, we are able to enact change in the areas we most need it. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental space where I can support you as you uncover the truth about your current experience, identify your wants and needs, and enact change. I believe that it is important to work patiently with every person, since everyone has different backgrounds, experiences, and values. There is nothing “too big” or “too small” to focus on in therapy, just come as you are.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me, and if you are interested in beginning this journey with me please reach out to our wonderful team.
