Hello & Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I was born and raised in El Paso and completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Texas at El Paso, a CACREP Accredited
university, where I also completed my Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and philosophy.

Mental health is a complex topic, and working on it with someone else requires trust and comfort. I
strive to build this with my clients by offering a warm and respectful environment that allows them to grow as individuals. I believe in the power of social support and treat my role in a client’s community with great care and intention.

I have experience working with conditions such as depression, trauma, and several forms of anxiety,
including social, health, and financial anxiety. My general approach is person centered and eclectic,
which means my work with clients is individualized, compassionate, and flexible. This also includes incorporating a variety of interventions throughout the therapeutic process in order to best serve my clients. Lastly, my approach also focuses on mindful self-empowerment, which encourages my clients to develop a strong sense of self to guide them through life’s inevitable challenges.
