I am so happy that you are here! Let me take a moment to introduce myself.

I have been living in El Paso for over 12 years educating myself and helping children, teenagers, adults, and families in their healing journey. I believe in a holistic approach to counseling where balance in our mind, body and spirit is necessary to live a peaceful and joyful life. My hope is to help clients find this balance when given the tools and knowledge they need to make healthy choices.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in women’s studies and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Texas at El Paso. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work to create a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment to make it easier for clients to maximize their potential and reach their personal goals. I am a certified therapist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania, and I have training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on the impacts of trauma. My training also encompasses sand tray, art modalities and play therapy.

I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds on issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, communication and behavioral problems, and codependency. I use an integrated theoretical orientation comprised primarily of client centered and cognitive behavioral therapy.

If you are ready to begin your healing journey and you think I may be a good fit, please contact me so we can begin our work together. Thank you for your time and I look forward to the opportunity of working with you and helping you in this process.
