Presentation Overview:
In this training clinicians will strengthen their ability to accurately diagnose Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) using DSM-5-TR criteria. Participants will review key assessment tools, enhance their clinical interviewing techniques, and explore evidence-based treatment approaches supported by current research. A case example will be used to provide practical application of the concepts and skills covered.

Lorae earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT).
At Thrive, Lorae serves as both a clinician and a part-time Clinical Services Support Coordinator, where she supports high-quality client care while helping support clinical operations across the practice.
